Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil have been accused of having their minds on another election rather than forming a Government.
The claims from Independent TD Danny Healy-Rae come as the Labour leader Joan Burton warns her party to prepare for a second election.
The Dáil sits this morning for the fifth time since the General Election with no sign of a Taoiseach.
Danny Healy-Rae has said it is because the two main parties have their mind on another vote.
“It isn’t this election is their (Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil) bother at all, it’s the next election they’re worried about,” said Healy-Rae.
“To see how they could minimise or get rid of as many Independents as they can. That’s what those two parties are about.”
