Two lucky punters defied odds of 33,000/1 to win €16,500.50 from Irish bookmaker BoyleSports recently.

The first customer who hailed from Co Limerick, bet 50c on the numbers 6, 17, 30 and 45 to be drawn from either of Tuesday’s Euro Millions draws.

The bet cost €1 in total to play. The numbers were drawn in the EuroMillions Plus draw, turning the customer’s €1 bet into a whopping €16,500.50.

The second customer from Co Kilkenny placed a 50c bet online on the numbers 6, 17, 25 and 45 to come up in either draw. The bet also clicked in the EuroMillions Plus draw, resulting in another €16,500.50 windfall.

Both customers wish to remain anonymous.
