Katie Hopkins is back and she’s at it again, but this time she’s got us involved.
The controversial columnist sat down with Irish TV presenter Angela Scanlon in an interview for her series, Close Encounters.
The interview, which aired on Wednesday on BBC Three and previously on RTÉ 2, saw Katie not only described herself as the ‘Jesus for the outspoken’ but goes on to insult the Irish nation in general.

It all began when the 41-year-old asked if we had Marks and Spencer in Ireland and stone-faced Angela replied, “Yes, we do and we also have electricity.”
In response to this, Katie decided that this little country of ours is ‘almost civilised’ (due to the presence of Marks and Sparks) and decided to reaffirm the fact that we ‘like potatoes’.
At this point Angela fired back, “We also have manners” before Katie went on to question her on whether she prefers England to Ireland, as she currently lives there.
“You’ve come to live in England because..?”
When Angela broke the news to her that she, if fact, doesn’t “like it [England] better”, Katie simply told her to “go home then”.
To which the 33-year-old’s answer was “it pays better”.
And breathe.
