Thousands of Special Olympics volunteers are out on the streets right now collecting as part of their national fundraising day.
The organisation supports more than 9,100 athletes from around the country – helping them to reach their full potential.
“I’ve been involved in sports probably most of my life, and I know how important and key sport is to building a team ethos and getting involved and really improving your confidence,” Special Olympics ambassador and Irish rugby captain Rory Best said.
