Ireland’s Paul Dunne has had a couple of solid rounds the Shenzhen International and this unbelievable par save today has helped his cause.
Dunne is currently in a four-way tie for fifth on nine-under-par and is one-under for the day.
Soomin Lee of South Korea is leading the European tournament in China on 14-under-par, but it was Dunne’s heroics on the fifth hole that have kept him bang in touch.
Having landed himself in the trees it looked likely that the Wicklow man would be dropping some shots – he had other ideas however.
Getting a solid contact to escape, Dunne managed to somehow get the ball to just off the green and followed up with a long range putt to for a brilliant par.
Who would've thought @dunners11 would make par from there? Brilliant effort. 🇮🇪#ShenzhenIntl https://t.co/2jx5YI1QTB

Hopefully, we will see him right up there contending for his first professional title tomorrow.
