The President, acting Taoiseach and other ministers have gathered at Arbour Hill in Dublin to mark 100 years since the Easter Rising.

President Michael D Higgins and acting Taoiseach Enda Kenny were given full military honours as they arrived at the location where 14 of the 1916 leaders are buried.

The relatives of those who fought in the Easter Rising are also attending the annual mass and commemoration ceremony at Arbour Hill.

Meanwhile, Panti Bliss, Damien Dempsey and Fionnuala Flanagan are just some of the people you can see at a free parade and open-air concert in Dublin city centre today to mark the 100th anniversary of the Rising.

Organisers, Reclaim the Vision of 1916, have said they wanted to stage an inclusive event after many people felt they were unable to get involved in the Government’s Easter weekend celebrations.
