A man is due in court tomorrow over a firearms find from a car in Cork on Friday.

A woman, who was also arrested, has since been released from garda custody with a file being prepared for the DPP.

It was during a checkpoint at Clogheenmilcon in Blarney that a shot gun and ammunition were found.

The man in his 30s will appear before Cork District Court in the morning.
