According to a recent survey, four in ten (40%) of Irish people say their health will be their main focus in 2016.
The survey, from Royal London, aims to find out Irish people’s biggest focus for 2016.
The nationwide survey found that health is by far people’s biggest priority while money is their biggest worry (46%).
Daragh Feely of Royal London said, “I think as a nation we are becoming increasingly health conscious, both of our physical and mental health.
“This is something which is quite evident in people’s increased focus on healthy eating and from the growing numbers of walkers, runners and cyclists we see on our roads every day.”
Feely also said that the differences between the ages are as you would expect, “ money is a huge concern for those aged 18 to 34 years old but it’s good to see that older respondents are a little more financially secure, with just 31% of those aged over 55 citing money as their number one worry.”
