The final trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse has revealed a number of secrets about the characters (that we kind of already knew) as well as a cameo from one of our favourite mutants.

The movie, a sequel to 2014’s Days of Future Past brings James McAvoy’s Charles Xavier and Michael Fassbender’s Magneto together again as they face off against their most dangerous villain yet – Apocalypse, played by Oscar Isaac.

The trailer itself is packed with unseen footage and unearths a few secrets so if you want to remain blissfully unaware DO NOT watch the trailer and for all that is holy do not read what comes after.

Wasn’t that fun?

Bryan Singer has ‘finally revealed’ that Magneto is the father of Quicksilver (Evan Peters) who made his first appearance in the X-Men universe in the franchises last outing.

But what was that at the end?

Rumours of Hugh Jackman’s appearance in the film have now been confirmed as true as we see Wolverine – everyone’s favourite mutant – sharpening the claws for the ‘second-last’ time.

This movie just got a whole lot better.
