Earlier: Two men were killed just hours apart, in seemingly unrelated attacks, in Summerhill and Clondalkin.
The first shots were fired shortly after 9.30pm last night when two men entered the Sunset House pub, in Summerhill in Dublin’s North inner city.
One of the men is believed to have opened fire, leaving a 35-year-old man dead at the scene.
Gardaí, who are appealing for witnesses, are focusing on a potential getaway car.
They say the silver, Cork-registered Audi was recovered in nearby Drumcondra and has been seized for technical examination.

That car is linked to another silver saloon car which left Walsh Road in Drumcondra in the direction of Home Farm Road with three men inside.
Violence broke out again just before midnight in the Kilcronan area of Clondalkin.
There, another man also in his 30s, was shot dead.
Both men were known to Gardaí.
Two seperate investigations are underway.
