The outgoing Environment Minister Alan Kelly has launched a scathing attack of the confidence and supply agreement between Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil.
Alan Kelly’s comments come as talks with Independents continue to try and agree on a minority government.
He told told the Dáil the document makes no mention of climate change, despite it being “the global cause of our generation”.
Minister Kelly said he was astounded at the document, which comes nearly 10 weeks after the election.
“10 days per page to write this famous document,” he said. “We are not witnessing the dawning of a new day of politics, but maybe pints with the people are more important than the world’s poorest to Fianna Fáil.”
