Two fire fighters remain in hospital, after they were injured by an explosion in Co Cork.

They suffered facial and hand burns in the incident at a farm in Terelton near Macroom in the early hours of this morning.

They had been called after a farm building went on fire.

Three of the fire crew were rushed to Cork University Hospital. One of them has since been discharged.
