Dundalk remain four points clear of Cork City at the top of the Airtricity League Premier Division after both sides registered 1-0 wins tonight.
Andrew Boyle’s first-half goal was enough for Dundalk to defeat Bray Wanderers at Oriel Park.
Meanwhile John Caulfield’s Cork side beat 10-man Bohemians by a solitary goal thanks to Garry Buckley’s strike at the start of the second-half at Dalymount Park.
There was a frantic finish to tonight’s north-west derby at the Brandywell.
Three goals were scored in the closing six minutes as Derry City and Finn Harps played-out an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Joshua Daniels and Rory Patterson scored in quick succession for the Candy-stripes to overturn Ryan Curran’s lead goal. But Harps got a leveller in injury time from Sean Houston.
Goals from Sean Hoare, Billy Dennehy and Conan Byrne saw St Pat’s beat their hosts Galway United 3-0, in a game which saw both sides finish with just 10-men.
