A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Co. Wicklow.

It happened at around 6.25pm this evening on the Farrenkelly Road.

The man who came off his motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is closed to facilitate a forensic examination of the scene and diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
