Baby Alannah, the infant found deceased at a Wicklow recycling plant, will be laid to rest today.
She was found last week as waste was being sorted at the Greenstar facility in Fassaroe in Bray.
Anyone with information is being urged to phone Gardaí, or the child and family agency Tusla.
A funeral service will take place at Redford Cemetery in Greystones this afternoon, at 12 noon.
Local gardaí say they want to give the infant an identity and pay their respects.
Superintendent Pat Ward urged baby Alannah’s family to come forward.
“We are renewing our appeal for mum or dad to come forward to seek whatever support we can give them,” he said. “They can be assured we will give them all the support they need.”
Post mortem results on baby Alannah’s remains found nothing to suggest any deliberate harm was done to her, and that she may have been born some weeks earlier than initially thought.
