A 68-year-old man has died in a three-car collision in Co Kilkenny this morning.
The man, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was fatally injured in the incident which happened at around 10.55am this morning in Dangan, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
The man was treated at the scene by emergency services, but died a short time later.
His body has been removed to Waterford Regional Hospital.
Two other males were brought to St Luke’s Hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The road is closed and local diversions are in place. Garda forensic collision investigators are at the scene. The coroner has been notified.
