U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Clayton Walker had an emotional reunion with his daughter at Turner Field in Atlanta this week.
Walker has been stationed abroad for the last 11 months and missed, and had been missed by, his daughter Cassidy.
As part of her school choir, Cassidy was invited to sing the national anthem before the Atlanta Braves took on the Philadelphia Phillies.
The 10-year-old was in tears when a video message from her dad was shown before they sang.
Walker said: “Cassidy, I can’t wait to be home soon and I can’t wait to see you,”
But when her dad appeared from the dugout at the end of the anthem, her sadness turned to delight and she ran to meet him.
A moment to remember – we have a feeling there were a lot of fans who had tears in their eyes at the baseball park that evening.
Check out the full clip, including the video message from Sergeant Walker.
