As if one lung-bursting run from midfield resulting in a green flag wasn’t enough for one day, here’s another gem, writes Stephen Barry.

This time Kerry’s 2014 All-Star Peter Crowley is the scorer, with the defender turning defence into attack in a fluid move that featured two textbook give-and-go passes.

What’s more, the deft finish beats fellow All-Star recipient Brendan Kealy.

Crowley’s 47th-minute goal sealed a Kerry Senior Championship first-round victory for Mid Kerry, who beat Kilcummin by 3-12 to 1-13 on Sunday.

Thanks to the MidKerry Journal for capturing the goal on camera.
