A man has been arrested after €12,000 worth of cigarettes and €8,000 worth of drugs were seized in Dublin this afternoon.

29,000 cigarettes and controlled drugs were discovered by Revenue Officials during the search of an apartment in Finglas and retail premises in Dublin City Centre.

The car in which the contraband was transported in was also seized in the operation.

A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene.
