Four people have been taken to hospital following a crash between a minibus and a car on Collins Avenue in Dublin this evening.

The collision happened on the inbound lane at the the Whitehall junction just after 3pm.

Gardaí have said the people have been taken to hospital as a precaution.

The road is open to traffic however delays are being reported in the area as a result.
