The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation has called off planned industrial action at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda tomorrow.

The work-to-rule was due to get underway amid a row over staff shortages.

However talks are now underway between the union and management at the Workplace Relations Commission.

The negotiations are due to resume on Friday.
