Roscommon have resorted to new tactics to stop their opposition’s forwards, judging by a skit released ahead of Sunday’s Connacht quarter-final, writes Stephen Barry.

Star of the show is Leitrim centre-forward Emlyn Mulligan, although he doesn’t have a speaking role due to being gagged by three Roscommon kidnappers.

No doubt the kidnappers are particularly worried after the Rossies struggled to beat New York, holding out for a one-point win.

“None of your fancy outside the boot stuff this weekend, Mulligan!”

We hope that Mulligan will make it out in time for the 3.30pm throw-in at Páirc Seán Mac Diarmada.

The skit comes from EJ Menswear and already collected over 10,000 views on Facebook.
