A 67-year-old man has been arrested following the discovery of a body at his house in South Dublin last night.

Just before midnight Gardaí were called to an incident at a house in Summerville Park.

There they found a 59-year-old man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Earlier today Dr Marie Cassidy carried out a post mortem on the body at the City Morgue.
