Renua has said its rebranding will focus on rural Ireland.
The party is attempting to rebuild after it failed to elect any TDs in the recent election.
Already, senior members including founder and leader Lucinda Creighton have stepped away from the party.
Fellow founding member John Leahy (pictured) said they had to take responsibility for the party’s image and renew focus.
“My primary role has always been the rural link, getting improved services for rural Ireland,” he said.
“That for me would be paramount in the make-up of the rebranding. The majority of our candidates are going to be from rural areas, so that focus will play a major part in the party’s rebranding.”
