It looks like the good weather is here to stay throughout next week, with long, sunny spells forecast and any showers dying out.
Although we can expect a few heavy showers later this evening, these will peter out and the evening will be warm and dry.
Tomorrow looks set to be the best day with temperatures rising to 22C. There’s a chance of a few showers in southern counties, but these will be few and far between.
It will stay warm through the week, Met Éireann has forecast, with light breezes complementing the sunshine.
Temperatures will dip on Monday and Tuesday, but start to rise again through Wednesday.
By later on Thursday and on Friday, temperatures will be back into the low 20s, meaning the sunshine may last for the long weekend.
