How about this as a contender for goal of the year?…
Jamie Tregaskiss was playing in a Football for All event, featuring some of Europe’s elite amputee footballers, when he produced this piece of magic.
Tregaskiss, lining out for Manchester City amputees, dazzles his marker with some close-control and searing speed, before producing a classy finish.
A talented youth footballer, Tregaskiss was diagnosed with bone cancer at the age of 13 and had to have his leg amputated. Still, he has continued to pursue his footballing dreams.

The clip of his stunning goal was filmed by Simon Baker, who is founder of the Irish Amputee Football Association and secretary general of the European Amputee Football Federation.
He said in an online post about Tregaskiss: “In years to come (he) will be a household name when our sport reaches the Paralympics.
“Judge for yourself in the videos.”
