The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) has said there are 224 people on trolleys in hospitals around the country.

The Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar has the highest number of patients waiting for a bed today, at 28.

24 people are waiting on beds in Tallaght Hospital in Dublin.

Today’s figure is down from the INMO’s previous trolley watch report, which indicated that 241 people were waiting for beds in hospitals around the country last Friday.
