Cristiano Ronaldo may appear to revel in his reputation for arrogance, but behind all the swagger and flash is a very decent guy.

After scoring the winning penalty for Real Madrid in the Champions League final at the weekend, he would be forgiven for basking in the glory at the San Siro.

But instead he took time out, right in the middle of the celebrations, to greet fans and pose for pictures.

The Real team had just been given their medals and were headed to the pitch to show off the trophy to waiting supporters.

Most of the players went straight out but, when approached, Ronaldo broke off to greet several wheelchair-bound fans and pose for pictures with them.

There’s no denying the Portuguese star is arrogant on the field, but he appears to be a bit of a sweetheart off it.
