Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a crash that has claimed the life of a man in Co Clare.

The victim, who was in his 30s, died in a collision with a motorcyclist on the Lisdoonvarna to Kilrush road last night.

A man and a woman were also hurt in the crash, however their injuries are not life threatening.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured and is being treated at Limerick Hospital.
