Update 12.40pm: The Green Party will stage a protest at the visit of billionaire American presidential hopeful Donald Trump to Ireland later this month.
Party leader Eamon Ryan TD has called for a peaceful, purposeful protest, to show the world that Ireland rejects the divisive views espoused by Trump.
The Anti-Austerity Alliance has also called for a protest against the visit of the presumptive Republican nominee.
Deputy Paul Murphy said that there should be a clear message that his policies are not welcome here.

Donald Trump has confirmed he is coming to visit Ireland.
The billionaire plans to visit his golf resort in Doonbeg in Co Clare later this month, after seeing his courses in Scotland.
The trip by the presumptive Republican presidential nominee comes at the same time as the US Vice President Joe Biden plans to be here.
Trump is expected to be confirmed to run for the Republican party in July.
He confirmed his plans to visit Ireland on Twitter, describing Doonbeg as “the magnificent resort fronting on the Atlantic Ocean”.

The news of Mr Trump’s Irish trip comes just days after the Taoiseach described some of his comments as “racist and dangerous”.
