Sweden recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory over Wales in Stockholm as preparations ahead of Euro 2016 continued.

Strikes from Emil Forsberg in the 40th minute, Mikael Lustig in the 57th and substitute John Guidetti three minutes from time sealed the triumph for the hosts, who open their European Championship campaign against the Republic of Ireland on June 13.

Wales begin theirs with a clash against Slovakia in six days and will be looking for much more than they produced on Sunday in a game that did not feature star winger Gareth Bale until his introduction as a 64th-minute substitute.

Elsewhere, Belgium – who are in Group E with Sweden – came from behind to beat Norway 3-2 at home.

After Romelu Lukaku put the Belgians in front early on, the visitors replied through Joshua King and Veton Berisha, with Eden Hazard and Laurent Ciman then netting headers three minutes apart to turn things back around.

Russia, who join Wales in Group B, drew 1-1 in Serbia, taking the lead with five minutes to go via Artem Dzyuba only for the Aleksandar Mitrovic to equalise three minutes later.

There were also two teams from Group D in warm-up action on Sunday – Czech Republic and Turkey.

The Czechs suffered a 2-1 home defeat to South Korea, which saw them 2-0 down at half-time thanks to goals from Bit-garam Yoon and Suk Hyun-jun.

Marek Suchy pulled a goal back just after the interval before the hosts were reduced to 10 men, with Theodor Gebre Selassie being sent off.

Turkey beat Slovenia 1-0 away courtesy of an early effort from Burak Yilmaz.
