The first of this year’s GAA Championship Qualifier Draws took place this morning.
The draw produced pairings for round one of the GAA Football Championship Qualifiers.
After losing to Cavan, Armagh now face an away trip to Laois to save their season, while the loser of the game between Louth and Meath will have to travel to Derry.
In Round 1B, Limerick will also be heading north after being drawn against Antrim, while Wexford will host the loser of the match between Fermanagh and Donegal.
The Round 1A draw involved the eight counties on the “A” side of the Provincial Championship that do not qualify for the Provincial Semi-Finals and all four games take place on the weekend of June 18 and 19.
The Round 1B draw involved the eight counties on the “B” side of the Provincial Championship that do not qualify for the Provincial Semi-Finals and those matches will be played on the weekend of June 25 and 26.
Where two teams are mentioned, it is the loser of the match in question who will be involved in this qualifier round.
