The majority of Dubliners are happy with the city’s air quality, according to a new Eurostat survey.
Eurostat says 88% of people are satisfied with the cleanliness of the air.
It rates the city at the top of the capital cities surveyed in the EU along with Vienna and Helsinki.
Residents in Paris, Bulgaria’s capital Sofia and the capital of Romania, Bucharest, are the least satisfied with their citys’ air quality.
The survey also shows that 82% of Dubliners have the highest rate of satisfaction in the EU with daily noise levels.
Again, Sofia and Bucharest are at the bottom of the survey, this time along with the Greek capital Athens.
