Hundreds of people had to be evacuated this morning due to a fire in Cork city.
The fire broke out at the Steak House and Seafood Restaurant on Camden Quay in the city centre at around 5.15am this morning and took three hours to bring under control.
Four units of the fire brigade battled the blaze and gardaí had blocked access to Camden Quay and Christy Ring Bridge.
Residents of the apartments overhead had to evacuate the building, but gardaí say there are no injuries to report.
Camden Quay and the Christy Ring Bridge have since reopened.
