What do big tough rugby players do on their day off? Cage dive with sharks of course.
The Irish rugby squad are in South Africa for a three-test summer tour and enjoyed some high-adrenaline pursuits on their day off yesterday.
Some elected to golf or visit table mountain, but the preferred choice was a chance to go cage-diving and meet some Great White sharks.
They got lucky – with seven sharks coming close to the boat while they were out.
Craig Gilroy captured the moment they got very up close and personal with one shark in particular.
“Whoooah!!”

Maybe one or two wished they had stuck to golf.
We're going to need a bigger boat. #sharknado for rest in Cape Town #shouldertoshoulder pic.twitter.com/wtoNu9TVHx
