The Antrim county board have said that unless they are told otherwise their hurlers will show up to play the Christy Ring Cup final replay this Saturday as scheduled.
Meath were presented the trophy after the first game on Saturday, but it turned out afterwards the referee had got the score wrong and it should have been a draw.
And on Tuesday, the Central Competitions Control Committee (CCCC) announced that the game was to be replayed on Saturday June 11 at 7pm in Páirc Esler, Newry.
Meath were unhappy with the decision, with manager Martin Ennis suggesting that he didn’t feel his team should have to replay at all.
But last night they announced they would play the replay, but wanted both the date and venue changed.

This new date would cause problems for Antrim who are scheduled to play Derry in the Ulster SHC semi-final the following day, Sunday June 19.
And this morning their secretary, Frankie Quinn told RTÉ’s Morning Ireland that they intend to turn up for the replay this Saturday in Newry.

The GAA have yet to comment on Meath’s requests for changes; looks like this controversy isn’t over yet.
