A British tourist has died after a road collision in county Cork.
It happened on the Kealkil to Coppeen Road (R585) also known as the Bantry Line this morning at 11.10am
The 68-year-old man, who is from Buckinghamshire in England, was driving a motorbike which collided with a ditch.
His son was following on a second motorbike when the crash happened and he raised the alarm.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to the morgue at Cork University Hospital.
The road is currently closed for an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
