A man remains in a serious condition in hospital this morning after a fatal crash in Dublin yesterday.

The incident happened when a car struck barriers on the Naas Road just before 6am.

A 35-year-old man was killed, and a 32-year-old passenger in the car was seriously injured.

The 35-year-old was pronounced dead on arrival at St James’s Hospital in Dublin.

Gardaí in Clondalkin are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
