Lee left the hotel again at some stage on Tuesday morning and , when he didn’t arrive at the airport for his flight home, his family took to social media to try and locate him.

Today the FAI said they “would like to appeal to all Republic of Ireland supporters in Paris for Euro 2016, to assist in locating” Lee.

The FAI has also communicated with the Confederation of Republic of Ireland Supporters Clubs and has sought its help in locating Lee.

FAI CEO John Delaney has been in touch with the McLaughlin family, with more family members reported to be en route to Paris to help with the search.
