Gardaí have seized €350,000 in cash in vacuum packs, in a holdall bag, in Dublin.
They stopped a number of vehicles on the M1 motorway just north of Swords, last night as part of an investigation into criminal activity there.
They also arrested three men in their 40s and conducted follow-up searches were conducted in a number of areas, with the help of Gardaí from Dublin and Cavan.
Those searches unearthed a vacuum packing machine at an address in Tallaght, and Zopiclone tablets worth more than €10,000 from a premises in Baileboro, Co. Cavan.
Two of those arrested have been released pending the submission of files to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
One person is still in custody at Swords Garda Station, detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
