A new Red C poll for Newstalk shows that the majority of people do not believe the site chosen for the new Children’s hospital is the right one.
The survey found that 73% felt that the location for the new facility, which is due to be built at James’ Hospital in Dublin’s inner city, is not the correct site.
The report also examined whether the public feel Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown or another location would have been a better option.
The poll questioned more than 1,000 adults between June 5 and 8.
