Ireland are behind in their second match at the Euros – Romelu Lukaku and Axel Witsel scoring in the second half to give Belgium a 2-0 lead.
Irish fans would be gutted to concede anyway, but they’re even angrier because Shane Long was kicked in the head seconds before the first goal.
Not sure how Shane Long is still standing. pic.twitter.com/3ES8wZSP1y

Before Lukaku scored for Belgium, should Ireland have had a penalty after Toby Alderweireld caught Shane Long with a high boot?#BELIRL

The referee, who isn’t endearing himself to Irish fan anyway, didn’t react to the incident and Belgium immediately went up the park and scored.
Supporters of the boys in green are NOT HAPPY.
How is Shane Long getting kicked in the head not a penalty?

Interesting tactics the Belgian defenders are using on Shane Long pic.twitter.com/IrNCUvDTBo

@kenearlys ken, he could've launched a bazooka at Long and this ref would have given free pout
