Staff at Oberstown youth detention centre have re-issued strike notice to management.

It comes amid a long running dispute over health and safety at the Dublin institution.

Management and SIPTU had agreed to talks at the Workplace Relations Commission.

However, today the union has said workers have rejected WRC proposals aimed at solving the row.

They have now re-issued notice of industrial action.
