Investigations are continuing after the seizure of €4.3m worth of herbal cannabis in Rosslare Port, Co Wexford, last night.

215 kilos of the drug had been concealed in a consignment of frozen meat, in an unaccompanied container that arrived from France.

The container had been selected for scanning as part of routine checks by Revenue.
