Almost 350 people are on hospital trolleys today according to nurses.

The latest Trolleywatch report shows Cork University Hospital is the most overcrowded with 41 people in need of a bed.

The next busiest is University Hospital Limerick where 31 people are in the emergency department and overflow areas of wards.

In total 345 people are recorded as being on trolleys today.
