A syndicate of 22 Dublin Bus drivers won last week’s €23,845,060 Euromillions jackpot, it has been reported.
According to The Sunday World newspaper, one of the drivers based in the North Dublin Broadstone garage said: “Yeah it was us alright … We haven’t all spoken to each other yet so I’m not even sure how much we will walk away with.”
It is understood no one has come forward to officially claim the prize as of yet.
Neither Dublin Bus nor National Lottery officials can confirm the reports – with the Lotto saying the claims process can only begin when its office opens tomorrow morning.
National Lottery spokesman Ronan Leech said yesterday: “We won’t actually be announcing the location, or indeed when the ticket was sold until next week.
“But what we could advise, naturally, to all our players, would be to check their tickets.
