Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after two men were seriously injured in a road accident in Dublin today.

The pair, aged in their 40s and 50s respectively, were hurt when their motorcycles and the trailer unit of an articulated lorry were in collision on the Naas Road at around 11.30am this morning.

The collision happened on the outbound lanes of the (R110) Naas Road at Fox and Geese (between junction of the Long Mile Road and the M50 interchange).

Both injured men were taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital.

The driver of the lorry did not remain at the scene.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who can assist with the investigation to contact them. They are also appealing to the driver of the lorry to come forward.
