Celtic are heading to Gibraltar to begin their Champions League campaign after Lincoln Red Imps sealed a comeback win against Flora Tallinn.

Lincoln secured a 2-0 home win to overturn their 2-1 defeat in Estonia last week and reach the second qualifying round.

Joseph Chipolina netted the opener from the penalty spot in the 15th minute to put the hosts ahead on the away goals rule and they continued to look the more threatening side.

It will be the first test for new manager Brendan Rogers.

And substitute Antonio Calderon put the Red Imps ahead on aggregate with 11 minutes left to seal their dream tie in Gibraltar’s third season in European football.

Celtic are due to face Lincoln in the first leg in Gibraltar next week, although the fixture dates have yet to be confirmed.

The Gibraltarian champions went out at the same stage last season, losing 3-0 on aggregate to Danish side Midtjylland, who then featured Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko.

Their squad includes Lee Casciaro, who scored Gibraltar’s first competitive international goal in a 6-1 defeat to Scotland at Hampden last year.
