Unfortunately Claire Mooney missed out finishing seventh.
In the men’s 400 metres Brian Gregan got through as a fastest loser but David Gillick and Craig Lynh have missed out .

At 2.05pm Thomas Barr and Paul Byrne compete in the 400 metres Hurdles.
Tomas Cotter makes his senior championship debut in the 3,000 metres steeplechase at 4.55pm.
Wicklow women Fionnuala McCormack and Tara Jameson run in the women’s 10,000 metres final at 6pm.
