A man in due on court in Limerick this morning charged in relation to a drugs seizure.

The 33-year-old is expected to appear before Limerick District Court in connection with a seizure of cannabis.

The drugs were discovered during a search at an apartment on Howley’s Quay in Limerick City on Tuesday evening.

Cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €10,000, and €20,000 in cash was recovered during the operation.

The search was carried out as part of an ongoing investigation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the Limerick area.
